Actually, you could say that all the people I have ever been interested in, at some point in their lives had to grapple with issues and feelings threatening their mental balance and shaking them to the very core of their beings.

Occasionally I stumble upon somebody who has met face to face the same raw emotions I play with. Too sensitive to be normal and fit in with the surrounding staleness, they often spend their early lives riding on an emotional roller coaster that leaves them battered and bruised and wondering why no one around them experiences the world the way they do.

Actually, you could say that all the people I have ever been interested in, at some point in their lives had to grapple with issues and feelings threatening their mental balance and shaking them to the very core of their beings. An intense hypersensitivity, in fact, is both a blessing and a curse. If you can find balance, experiencing a greater emotional range gives you a chance to feel on your skin everything everyone else feels and more. If you can surf on those giant waves without losing your balance, you will have access to powers unknown to common human beings. If not, you will drown in an ocean of emotions that are too powerful for your heart and mind to take. Being normal is not a choice at this point. For whatever reason, you are born on top of that giant wave. The only issue here is whether you will be able to ride it or if you will sink to the bottom of the ocean and become food for the fish.
